Real-time magnetometer data

This page displays real-time plots of magnetic data recorded at the Nurmijärvi Geophysical Observatory (NUR) and at Mekrijärvi (MEK), Hankasalmi (HAN), Kevo (KEV), Kilpisjärvi (KIL), Masi (MAS), Muonio (MUO), Pello (PEL) and Tartu (TAR) recording stations. Click on the appropriate box below to display magnetograms of selected magnetic components and time interval.

The real-time magnetometer data are provided by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) freely for scientific quick-look purposes. Any commercial use is forbidden without a written permission by FMI. The real-time data files must not be distributed on any other servers.

Data errors and transfer breaks are possible without any warning. For scientific analysis, verified data available later on the IMAGE data server should be used. No liability whatsoever is accepted for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from any errors or inaccuracy in the data.
